Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most famous role is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. Her studies in theatre took place at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at television and film roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. The mid-2000's saw her was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film and a few other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's life.
